Cast: Liu Bei, Chen Ling, Mao Haitong, Huang Pingshan Synopsis: On a bustling “Ladies’ Street” in Guangzhou, two fashion boutiques face each other: “Kaisalin,” run by Ouyang Suihong, and “Xiongyan,” jointly operated by Bai Yan and He Weihong. Smart and determined, Suihong is in love with Weihong. Bai Yan, young and competitive, refuses to yield in business—and is even less willing to give up on Weihong in love. Meanwhile, the gentle and indecisive Weihong finds himself torn between the two women.In a fierce bridalwear rivalry, Suihong gains the upper hand, while Bai Yan suffers repeated setbacks in business. After achieving success, Suihong confesses her feelings to Weihong, only to be rejected out of his pride. In a risky move, Bai Yan and Weihong purchase counterfeit garments, which are soon confiscated. Faced with Suihong’s encouragement and Bai Yan’s resilience, Weihong can only let out a long sigh, looking up at the sky.
