Synopsis: The play unfolds from the perspective of Gan Ya, a remarried mother who urgently needs to raise money for her deaf-mute daughter's hearing rehabilitation surgery, but encounters betrayal and violence from her remarried husband Zhao Kun. Zhao Kun's sudden disappearance not only casts a veil of mystery over the plot, but also pushes Gan Ya to the forefront. She cleverly designs a plate of "dumplings" to induce her parents-in-law to report the case. This plot not only shows Gan Ya's wisdom and courage, but also foreshadows a series of unexpected reversals in the plot.
